Rawabi Marketing International (RMI) was established in March, 1994 in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as part of Al Areefi Group of Companies. RMI started with only 21 employees and gradually and rapidly grown up to become more than 330 employees in 2013.

RMI currently is one of the top chemicals stockiest suppliers in Saudi Arabia in terms of variety, quantity and quality of items with a set of fully equipped offices that exist in the three main provisions of the K.S.A in addition to Head Office; Central Provision – Riyadh Branch, Western Provision – Jeddah Branch and Eastern Provision – Dammam Branch.

RMI realized earlier the potential of chemical industries in Gulf region and in Arab world and put tremendous efforts to offer all types of chemical items of high quality and affordable prices, accordingly RMI established Export Division worked on extending RMI activities to GCC countries and approaching to fulfill the chemical requirements in other Middle East, North Africa and Far East countries.

Currently, RMI has a very solid infrastructure consists of warehouses and transportation fleet. Warehouses are distributed in each of the three provisions; Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam with a total space of 50,000 square meters, fully equipped with all related warehouses’ equipments and facilities such as forklifts, cranes, etc… In addition to warehouses, RMI’s transportation fleet consists of 10 trucks up-to 10 Metric Ton (MT) load serving in-city distribution requirements and more than 119 Trailers and 131 road tankers to deliver different Bulk-Chemicals in order to meet and exceed various industries and customers requirements and needs.

Rawabi Marketing International’s (RMI) operations achieved a significant growth over the past 4 years due to overall increase in several chemical Items demand in the region’s markets, expanding its operational regions and distribution network to cover more countries in North Africa and far east, increasing its market share in KSA, GCC countries and Levant countries, the huge investments made in its Infrastructure of warehouses and chemical-delivery transportation fleet and strengthen the partnership with several well known worldwide chemicals suppliers and manufacturers such as SAUDI ARAMCO, SABIC, DOW, SASOL, FMC, ASHLAND, AKZONOBEL, NCSP, SUGEST, SIPCHEM, GROWEL, etc… which increased the variety of the offered range of products with maintaining the promised quality by RMI.

In addition to the above, the introduction of the new business segments over those years such as water treatment, lubricants & lubricants additives, oil field & process chemicals, casting chemicals, etc… in addition to the commodity chemicals and metal surface treatment chemicals facilitated RMI efforts to reach and serve new customer segments achieving more than 3,000 customer been served and more than 2,000 different chemicals items been sold till 2013 and this remarkable achievement was in accordance with RMI’s strategic objectives.

Sales figures (in million SR) for the past 4 years shows sustainable sales growth in 2012 & 2013 aiming to increase this percentage to 10% in 2014; 381 (million SR) in 2010, 464 (million SR) in 2011, 484 (million SR) in 2012 and reaching more than half billion Saudi Riyals “510” (million SR) in 2013.
